Position description:
Open Dealer Exchange, an affiliate of Reynolds and Reynolds, has a direct hire opportunity for an Applications Architect to join their team! Seeking opportunities to improve the application architect and system design of both internal and production technical solutions. This includes the performance, scalability, security and maintainability of our systems. The Applications Architect will be focused on finding areas of improvement while working with Senior IT Leaders to define our IT strategy.
It is expected that the Applications Architect is working autonomously to identify critical needs, research new products and technologies as they are being proposed and positioning our organization for greatest performance with minimal investment. Financial gains, security of our systems/data, stability and scalability are the primary concerns for the Applications Architect.
Responsibilities:
- Assuring the reliability and performance of our products and services
- Interfacing with product managers to design technical solutions for strategic initiatives
- Work with the development manager and team to implement technical designs
- Work with Operations team to define KPI metrics
- Provide advice on selection of appropriate cloud usage, hardware and deployment architectures for production systems
- Maintain an ongoing awareness of emerging trends and developments in technology
- Identify, design and communicate areas of integration between three lines of business

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
- 2 years of experience as an application architect
- 5 years of C#/.NET professional development experience
- Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps and CI/CD
- Experience in Designing application database and performance turning SQL server
- Highly proficient in C# and SQL
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Great collaboration and communication skills
Salary : $111,000 - $140,000
