What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Processor position at Rezzy?
Rezzy Mortgage is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Mortgage Processor to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Mortgage Processor, you will play a critical role in managing and ensuring the efficiency of our mortgage processing pipeline. Your meticulous attention to detail and deep understanding of mortgage guidelines will be crucial in maintaining the quality and accuracy of our loan files.
Top 5 Responsibilities and How You’re Measured:
1. Pre-Underwrite File (Income, Assets, Credit)
Description: Upon receipt of a file from Setup, review the entire file, including income, assets, credit, and program guidelines, and ensure that the file is completely ready for underwriting. Generate and send an initial needs list to the Borrower(s), and make a note of any conditions that will arise from underwriting.
Measurement: Accuracy and completeness of the file ready for underwriting.
2. Manage Pipeline
Description: Ensure that the entire loan pipeline is mistake-free and up-to-date with all information, including all dates, contact and loan information, and timelines in Rezzy Mortgage’s systems and any third-party systems required for the Loan Officer and Lender. This includes knowing where each file stands in regard to turn-times, lock dates, and overall timelines and communicating with all parties on their statuses.
Meas urement: Timeliness and accuracy of pipeline management and communication.
3. Manage File Restructures
Description: Ensure that any changes the Loan Officer makes to the file are submitted to the Lender and communicated with any necessary parties. Update all lock dates and closing dates as needed.
Measurement: Accuracy and timeliness of file restructuring and communication.
4. Review & Finalize Any Final Conditions
Description: Upon receipt of an underwriting decision, review, edit, add to, and finalize the needs list put together by the Junior Processor.
Measurement: Efficiency and thoroughness in finalizing underwriting conditions.
5. Train Junior Processors
Description: Work with the Junior Processor daily to help them develop their skills and knowledge about the process, guidelines, and tricks of processing. Every question and mistake is an opportunity to teach and educate.
Measurement: Improvement in the performance and knowledge of Junior Processors.
Work Environment:
- Standard office environment.
- Regularly sitting in a normal office setting at a desk.
- Occasionally may need to lift up to 20 pounds.
