What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher's Aide – Child Development Center (Part Time) position at RFK Community Alliance?
RFK Community Alliance has an exciting opportunity for a full-time position to join our residential team in Lancaster.
Who We Seek:
The Part-Time Teacher’s Aide will work in our Child Development Center providing an enriched and engaging environment for young children, as young as 6 weeks old to encourage their imagination, challenge their thinking skills, and enhances their social and language development. The Educator will work with the Lead Teacher in providing daily care, education, and recreation of children, including the daily operations of the classroom.
Requirements:
- Follow and actively participate in the implementation of the Behavior Management System (including the possibility of physical management) at the school and program.
- Develop a team atmosphere with the classroom teacher and other teacher’s assistants.
- Assist and actively support the specialist teachers in vocational education and gym.
- Supervise the daily routines of students in the classroom and in the programs.
- High School Diploma: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Must be 21 years old.
Hours:
Monday through Friday: 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM; and as needed
