Job Description
Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling a variety of subassemblies and / or finished products for the Production department.
Additional responsibilities include functional tests to meet specifications, quality checks, and on-time deliveries. Reports directly to the Production Leads and Production Manager.
Responsibilities :
- Cuts wires to specified lengths, using wire cutters.
- Cuts plastic sleeves and slips sleeves over wire ends to insulate connections.
- Crimps terminal eyelets and lugs to wire ends, using hand or machine crimping device.
- Neatly routes, combs, twists, wraps, ties, and attaches wires through wire way to terminal points.
Basic abilities
- Ability to read, understand, and follow Electrical Schematics.
- Ability to identify wire color, gauge and conductors.
- Ability to identify electrical components.
- Familiar with and adhere to Lock-out / Tag-out procedures.
- years of experience in manufacturing assembly environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
