This position is located at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA.

This position is not eligible for telecommuting. Tasks for this position must be performed on-site.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for managing the performance of Program Depot Maintenance (PDM); Unscheduled & Emergency Depot Level Maintenance (UDLM & EDLM) activities on western range Prime Mission Equipment (PME)
• Manage the performance of the Depot Repair Unit (DRU), a government recognized source of repair for range line-replaceable units (LRU) to include the repair of stock-listed and non- stock listed LRUs
• Support western range engineering project requirements with appropriate personnel and resources to ensure successful completion
• Interface with all western range resources, management, government stakeholders and contractors to ensure the accuracy and continuity of Depot maintenance information as delivered via Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and Summary Service Items (SSIs)
• Direct corrosion control activities in accordance with RGNext Corrosion Prevention and Control Program (CPCP) and in compliance with Steel Structures Painting Council (SSPC) and National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) standards
• Provide coaching, mentoring and guidance to Depot supervision and personnel in meeting RGNext standards for maintenance technical quality, customer service, and timeliness
• Develop and brief Quarterly Depot Management review (DMR/PIWG) depot slides. Organize, schedule and host the event when held onsite
• Host weekly Depot meeting with local and remote government representation such as the Chief of Maintenance and the Space Force Depot Level Maintenance Manager
• Support efforts to build enterprise practices between Ranges and between departments (e.g., Logistics, Engineering, MxCC)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ten years of experience in a Depot role or relevant management position
• Experience managing or leading a team
• Experience with electronic, mechanical, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining range system equipment
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Experience with Environmental and OSHA Standards

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific Depot and mission requirements
• Travel in support of work and meetings at off base locations
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes
• U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization
• Must possess REAL ID Federal Compliant Identification Driver's License

The salary range for this role is $97,115 to $152,007; however, RGNext considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training and preferred skills, and knowledge.
