This position is located at Vandenberg AFB, California.

Essential Functions
- Operate various Range Data Communications Systems. These systems include but are not limited to voice, data messaging, switching, display, and recording systems.
- Coordinate system configurations for mission support with other range operators and planners.
- Coordinate event anomaly reporting, logging, work approval receipt and mitigation as applicable.
- Responsible for real time and scheduled requests for system configuration changes.
- Provide maintenance support as required.
Required Skills
- Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Must be able to work multiple real-time events during operational support.
- Technical ability to interpret and/or prepare documents of reference that define the configurations of the equipment under your control.
- Technical ability to understand and be able to explain the configuration(s) associated with the equipment under your control.
Required Experience
- Associates degree in Electronics or equivalent military technical school training in electronics or communications - or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two or more years' technician experience or upon completion of 12 months on active payroll as 4U and completion of primary work center Enterprise Qualification Requirement (EQR's) or department equivalent if required and the RGNext NIDA electronics training program
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Ability to differentiate between colors and audible sounds
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization
- Valid U.S. Driver's License

The hourly rate for this role is determined by a Collective Bargaining Unit and ranges from $28.29 to $35.33. RGNext considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training and preferred skills, and knowledge.
