Job Overview:
This position is an integral part of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors advocacy efforts in promoting smart, sustainable, and reasonable public policy in Rhode Island.
Responsibilities:
- Actively promote all REALTOR political affairs programs
- Prepare best practices and train local volunteer leadership to establish and maintain solid relations with elected officials at all levels of government.
- Communicate the importance and availability of RIAR and the National Association of Realtors advocacy resources.
- Provide support and compliance for the association's various activities and goals including REALTOR Political Action Committee.
- Represent the organization at public events and engage in public speaking opportunities
- Review and report on political local policy advocacy opportunities.
- Act as a liaison between the Rhode Island Association of Realtors and local associations through a strong working relationship with executive officers and key committee members
-Conduct public policy research and assist in political fundraising
-Assist and support 5 local REALTOR organizations throughout the state.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
