Responsibilities:
As a Parts Advisor you will be responsible for providing vehicle parts and merchandise to customers while providing exceptional customer service.
* Answer incoming customer calls pertaining to parts orders
* Greet customers & vendors in a friendly and professional manner
* Write up parts tickets needed for the service department
* Interact with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service
* Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests
* Fulfilling online and phone parts tickets
* Converse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts status
* Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts
* Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
* Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submit an emergency order, if necessary.
* Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order
* DMS system and excel computer skills within the parts department
* Maintain clean and professional appearance of counter, work area, and stockroom.
* Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.
* Takes inventory, maintain records of goods received and keeps perpetual inventory controls.
* Receive payment or obtain credit authorization
* Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns as necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
