Job Title: Program Manager FLSA Status: Exempt
Hours: Full-Time Reports to: Area Director
Position Summary: The Program Manager is responsible for the management of Richcroft residential services that are provided within the region assigned to them.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited college or university in a human services related area including, but not limited to, Social Work, Psychology, or Education or at least three years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities and one year of supervisory experience, a valid driver’s license with less than three (3) points on driving record. Experience may be substituted for academic achievement at the discretion of the Area Director.
Reporting to this position: The Program Manager is responsible for the supervision of 5 licensed homes, residential supervisors and direct care staff.
Essential Job Functions:
Overall management of the assigned homes located within the county
The development of new services for individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities including residential services and respite care
Oversees the development and implementation of Individual Plans
Development and maintain a positive working relationship with other organizations, families, and government officials
Payroll
Other duties of this position include:
Ensure that all staff in the county understand and work toward fulfilling the mission of the agency.
Assist Residential supervisors in preparing for Personal Planning Meetings and individually directed, outcome oriented planning
Attend and monitor Richcroft’s participation in annual Personal Planning Meetings.
Evaluate the success of an individuals Individual Plan based on an agreed upon schedule.
Participation in the organizations management team meetings
Attend monthly staff meetings with Residential Supervisors
Conduct individual supervisions with Residential Supervisors
Work with the Area Director to schedule, interview, and hire new staff
Monitor and follow up with Residential Supervisors on client medical issues
Attend DDA sponsored meetings, orientations, and trainings as assigned by County Director
Monitor Client and household funds
Review all incident reports and progress reviews for individuals
Support and guide direct service staff in their efforts to connect clients to their communities
Conduct periodic, unannounced visits to Richcroft homes
Brief the County Director of any unusual events involving staff, clients, or the community in a timely manner
Ensure correctness of time sheets before presenting them to County Director for final approval
Oversee and supervise petty cash for the homes in the county
Maintain a positive and cooperative working relationship with the agency nurse in the county. This includes scheduling special needs training for staff
Ensure a system of 24-hour support to the homes and staff providing support in the county
Conduct monthly house reviews
Schedule staff in assigned homes
