MAILROOM SUPERVISOR
Mailroom & Shipping Department Overview:
The RNA Mailroom team provides core services for Richemont’s NY corporate headquarters. Members of this department are responsible for ensuring all incoming mail and parcels are routed appropriately and all outgoing parcels are gathered and prepared for a daily end-of-day Federal Express pickup.
Position Summary:
The Mailroom Supervisor will play a critical role in overseeing and supporting the day-to-day mailroom operations. S/he will be responsible for making sure all procedures are followed and customer experience standards are maintained while being agile enough to adapt to an
ever-changing environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising the day-to-day activities of the New York mailroom
- Ensuring the mailroom team provides quality customer service
- Collect relevant metric data and compile quarterly reports
- Manage vendor relationships
- Lead large shipping and distribution projects
- Act as the main point of contact for escalated inquiries
- Ordering and maintain a fully stocked inventory of shipping supplies
- Research and integrate new digital technologies
- Assist with special department projects as needed
Position requirements:
- Minimum 3 years in a corporate office mailroom environment
- Extremely polished and professional
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels within a company
- Organized and focused, with meticulous follow through skills
- Excellent project/time management skills with ability to prioritize
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve problems
- Personable attitude with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced work environment
- Proficient in iOS platform
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
