Richfield Living is seeking a Rehab Technician to join our outpatient, skilled nursing and assisted living centers in Roanoke, VA. The Rehab Tech performs routine tasks as assigned by a therapist and/or therapy assistant to support the provision of resident centered services and rehabilitation department operations. The Rehab Tech will assist with clerical and administrative services. This position reports to the Director of Rehab.

The Rehab Tech assists the therapy team in identifying and removing barriers to treatment and providing clinical education to meet the needs of the resident. Performs clerical duties within the department, including but not limited to, printing therapist/assistant schedules, assistance with weekly projections, tracking due dates of performance reviews, tracking physician signature and orders, and ensuring all therapist and assistant licenses are current and posted. Instructs residents, families, and caregivers in the skills and techniques of therapy programs under the supervision of Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist. Acts as an assistant to therapist when therapist is performing tests, evaluations, or complex procedures.
Qualifications:

- Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant.
- Demonstrated ability to demonstrate consistent professionalism with everyone.

- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate; verbal and written.
- Ability to observe and communicate changes of medical conditions to the nursing team
- Passion to care for our residents
- Experience working within a healthcare community desired
- Experience with Elopement and Emergency Procedures desired

Salary : $33,700 - $42,700
