Position : Maintenance Technician

Location : The Prescott Apartments, Austin, TX

Responsibilities :

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
• Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
• Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
• Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
• Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
• Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
• Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
• Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
• Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
• Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime

Requirements :

• Education : High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
• Experience : Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or GroundskeeperProficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.

Must own basic tools as allowed by state lawsKnowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing LawsStrong organizational skills and ability to work independently

Skills & Certifications : EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred Valid Driver's License requiredProficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
