Service Writer/Parts Specialist

UP Kubota is looking for a motivated Service Writer/Advisor who is willing to cross train into our Parts department to be the face of both departments for a fast paced dynamic hybrid role.

Service writer/ Parts person that initiates services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems and services requested. Service Writers/ Advisors verify warranty and service contract coverage; develop estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer rapport and records. Watching for any additional work on current customers units, and anticipating/advising customers to come in for work. Our parts department helps customers find the items they are looking for whether that is a part for a unit, a helmet, or a jacket/sweatshirt to wear while they are riding. We are looking for the perfect candidate to join our work family who can thrive in both specialties.

Requirements:

• Be able to smile, multi-task, and enjoy helping both counter departments provide great customer service.
• Enjoy serving as a *right hand man* to all departments; team attitude

• Sell parts, accessories, or clothing to customers calling or walking into the store.
• Fill parts requests for the service techs.
• Help maintain the service techs repair schedules and calendars. Maintain product delivery boards.
• Participate in rolling inventory checks.
• Greet customers in a friendly and timely manner.
• Customer Service - Manage difficult or emotional customer situations.
• Respond promptly to customer needs.
• Solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Respond to requests for service and assistance.
• Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; respond well to questions.
• Follow all company and vendor policies and procedures
• Adaptability - Adapt to changes in the work environment; Manage competing demands.

Expected Work Schedule: 9a-6p Tuesday-Friday and 9a-4p, year-round.
Starting at $15/hr (DOE) plus commission opportunities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
