What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Generalist position at Ridge RTC?
Ridge RTC was specifically developed to cater to the needs of adolescents that require therapy, increased structure, higher supervision, and fewer distractions. Upon admission, our teens and young adults begin our specialized therapies alongside treatment activities that are tailored to their unique difficulties.
Essential Job Functions
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding inquiries, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Assist in mediating disputes and conflicts between employees, promoting open communication and mutual understanding.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns, ensuring confidentiality and fairness throughout the process.
- Provide support and guidance to managers on employee relations issues, including performance management and interpersonal conflicts.
- Document disciplinary actions, including warnings, suspensions, and terminations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Advise managers on appropriate disciplinary actions based on company policies and applicable laws.
- Collaborate with Corporate HR to identify training needs related to employee relations and disciplinary procedures.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for managers and employees on conflict resolution, communication skills, and disciplinary processes.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training initiatives and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations in relation to employee relations and disciplinary matters.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and best practices in employee relations and disciplinary processes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee relations issues and disciplinary actions.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for legal proceedings or regulatory inquiries, as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Strong organizational skills
· Familiarity with payroll and benefits management
· Good interpersonal skills
· Good written and verbal communication
· Valid driver's license and good driving record
· Comfortable with computers and spreadsheets
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office a plus
