RieLes Group has an opportunity at FCI Beckley
Provision of CNA services will require frequent and unsupervised contact with inmates and will be responsible for receiving patients and explaining procedures to alleviate undue anxiety,
Duties include:
- General triage procedures, vital signs, blood glucose checks
- Providing general assistance to nurses, mid-level providers and physicians
- Reading PPDs
- Completion and documentation of NMOS orders
- Printing and managing call Provision of services will require frequent and unsupervised contact with inmates.out lists
- Tracking inmates that do not show for call outs
- Stocking supplies
- Charting observations and tasks completed in the inmate’s medical records chart
- Assist with sanitation of patient care areas and
- Observe infection control procedures and universal precautions.
- Other duties as assigned by the on-duty nurse/Health Services Administrator
The CNA in this position must:
- Must have a current and valid BLS Certification
- Must have a least one year of verified experience performing similar duties
- Must be dependable (good attendance)
- Strong interpersonal working skills are required
- Must be able to successfully pass the government’s background screening process
