RieLes Group, LLC is seeking a few qualified and enthusiastic Phlebotomist to join our team!!! The Phlebotomist in this position will provide services at the Federal Detention Center (FDC) in Butner, NC 27509. The Phlebotomist in this position will receive an attractive compensation package inclusive of competitive hourly pay, paid time off, and access to health insurance and other benefits.

Specific duties may include but are not limited to:
- Collect clinical laboratory specimens (human blood) for testing requested by a clinician
- Incumbent is responsible for specimen processing and transport
- Appropriately handles infectious and bio-hazardous waste
- Maintain accurate inventory of all needles and syringes used to replace sub-stock inventory
- Will be responsible for receiving patients and explaining procedures to alleviate undue anxiety
- Will be responsible for submitting reports and evaluations as requested
- Actively participate in the institution's Quality Management program by reporting quality issues, attending meetings, and in-service programs when applicable
- The incumbent may be called upon to perform other technical or clerical duties
Qualifications:
- Must have a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist from the State of North Carolina
- Must have successfully completed a phlebotomy program through a post-secondary school or college accredited by a regional or national accrediting organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education phlebotomy training program
- Must have at least 6 months of applicable experience
- Must have two (2) letters of reference
- Must have a current and active CPR certification
- Must be free of communicable diseases
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must possess knowledge of safety principles and infection control in the patient care environment
- Must be able to effectively communicate with Physicians to report changes in patient's physical and emotional condition
