What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at RieLes Group?
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) seeking a new & rewarding opportunity? Would you like to be a part of a team who provides Occupational Healthcare services for our military? If you answered yes to both question, RieLes Group has the perfect opportunity for you! The US Army Corps of Engineers, is in need of RNs to provide occupational health services on-site at the Regional Occupational Health Center (ROHC) located in Jacksonville, Florida. We are currently seeking 1 part-time RN to join our team.
The RNs in this position shall provide professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols and professional nursing standards. Specific tasks will be inclusive of but may not be limited to:
- Providing individual health and wellness counseling
- Coordinating wellness programs
- Assessing and treating minor health problems
- Coordinating health care needs and making referrals to medical specialists
- Administering emergency treatment
- Performing limited portions of physical examinations (i.e., electrocardiogram (EKG), spirometry, and audiometry)
- Provides training on occupational health topics
- Ensuring that all medical charts are properly documented
- Periodic travel to Wilmington, North Carolina ROHC for health promotion, training, and immunizations, approximately three (3) days per year
Qualifications:
- Must have current and valid RN license in any US State or Territory
- Must have 3 years of Registered Nurse experience with a minimum of 1 year of occupational health experience or 2 years of specialty nursing experience in a related field, such as case management
- Must have current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Must comply with mandatory health immunizations
- Must be able to pass background check
- Must be able to speak, understand, and write English to effectively communicate with staff and patients
- Must have have basic knowledge, skills, and abilities to use a computer EMR/EHR system
