Job Description
The Business Development Representative position is responsible to assure the assigned territory(s) meet or exceed its current and cumulative growth goals while assuring the image and brand of Right at Home continues to be the premier brand in the market. The Business Development Representative continually builds and enhances local relationships while identifying and creating new, key referral relationships and partnerships to enhance and assure growth and reputation goals are met or exceeded.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Meeting or exceeding personal referral/sales metrics.
Excellent, consistent sales processes, electronic data and records to help assure consistent follow up and follow through with all referral sources and the ability to spot trends with a focus on results.
Develop and maintain key referral sources in service area for the territory(s), examples of key referral sources are case managers, social workers in hospitals, rehabs, home health agencies, hospice agencies, LTACs, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities.
Responsible for seeking out new business opportunities by developing, coordinating, and implementing plans designed to increase existing business and capture new opportunities.
Develop proposals in response to requests.
Works to create an ongoing flow of high quality, fresh, relevant content (electronic) and collateral (physical) for assigned territory(s). This will include working with Case Managers on needed content.
Set up and present a targeted presentation for referral sources.
Responsible for maintaining the reputation and brand of Right at Home in conjunction with the Case Manager in the area.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Graduated from High School with your diploma, Bachelors degree preferred.
3 -5 years marketing and/or sales experience preferred.
Working knowledge of HIPAA.
Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.
Communicates on an intermediate level with others (internally and externally) to provide, exchange, or verify information, answer inquires, address issues, or resolve problems or complaints.
Tracks, monitors, plans, coordinates, or schedules activities at an intermediate level to ensure deadlines or requirements are met.
Ability to make recommendations to address and resolve issues.
Ability to effectively deal with diverse groups and individuals and to maintain working relationships.
Be proficient in preparing and proof-reading correspondence, forms, etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
