Provide inside sales support to Corporate Sales Executive in LTL and FTL service industry with various administrative and sales related tasks.
Requirements:
Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent.
Skills:
- Ability to work independently to provide information to the Sales Department, Customers and Management.
- Proficiency in Excel, Lotus Notes and Word.
- Ability to deal with confidential information.
- Prior experience in sales or customer service is a plus.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Must be proficient in using a computer and have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn and utilize CRM and sales navigator.
- Ability to work with and understand the various online bid processes.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk for most of an 8-hr. day.
- Ability to operate office equipment.
- Ability to lift small boxes.
- Ability to climb stairs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in lead generation by using sales navigator to find potential clients.
- Ability to work with and understand the various online bid processes.
- Provide sales leads from incoming calls as needed.
- Make outbound calls and send emails to prospective customers to set up appointments for the Corporate Sales Executive.
- Assist with organizing and tracking leads, quotes, and customer data in the CRM system.
- Provide administrative support to the Corporate Sales Executive including scheduling appointments, creating presentations, and preparing reports.
- Communicate with customers via phone and email to answer inquires, provide quotes, and follow up on sales leads.
- Attend conferences, events and visit customers on behalf of the Corporate Sales Executive.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination and execution of sales strategies.
- All office personnel must be reliable, must report for duty on time, must be neat and presentable, and must be available for overtime when required.
- All office personnel must maintain a good working relationship with customers, vendors, co-workers, and management.
- All personnel must keep management informed.
- Learn and adhere to all applicable company policies and procedures.
