Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw, and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and trigonometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Ability to accomplish work with limited direction. Determine and develop approach to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to operate a profitable, clean, and customer service oriented pharmacy (small format) store. Frequent independent judgments are essential. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

Provide clinical pharmacy services based on state regulations, including, but not limited to, adherence support, immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), point-of-care testing (POCT), diagnostic testing, and prescriptive authority to improve patient therapeutic outcomes.

Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions filled, by completing Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance, applicable to DEA, State and Federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.

Engage customers seeking guidance on pharmacological and non-pharmacological options for health condition management using provided clinical tools, and delivering information based on customer-preferred communication method.

Leveraging products and services to benefit the customer and build profitable retail business and script growth. Order merchandise for the entire pharmacy and ensure it is set up according to merchandising plan-o-grams and is in good facing condition.

Provide appropriate patient care with in-person, telephonic or digital means, collaborating with providers and patient care teams focused on patient health, and wellness outcomes.

Oversee the daily activities of the entire pharmacy building, including maintaining appropriate security of the entire building by utilizing and communicating store opening and closing procedures to store associates.

Oversee daily banking activities to ensure all daily deposits are taken to the bank and the appropriate amount of money is left in the store each evening

Assist with developing a budget for the store and monitor all activity against that budget throughout the fiscal year. Review profit and loss (P&L) and other financial reports to identify sales and expense control opportunities.
