Retail Delivery Supervisor - Job Description

The Retail Delivery Supervisor will report to the Director of Retail & Sales and work closely with them to implement, oversee and operate the Adult Use Retail Delivery service. At its inception the delivery service will be solely operated by the Delivery Supervisor until a time when business needs demand a dedicated delivery driver. The ideal Retail Delivery Supervisor should be able to function in a fast-paced, heavily regulated, and ever-evolving field. The Retail Delivery Supervisor will exhibit a great attention to detail and understand the importance of operating in a safe and compliant manner. The Retail Delivery Supervisor will exhibit excellent customer service and decision-making skills. The ideal Retail Supervisor should be a self-starter, excellent communicator and have a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities:

· Work within Dutchie POS and METRC (state tracking system) to perform accurate and compliant Adult Use cannabis retail deliveries

· Collaborate with the Director of Retail & Sales and Owners to create a safe and compliant delivery workflow

• Ensure the safe transport and transfer of product

· Thoroughly and accurately evaluate government issued IDs

· Ensure accurate POS transactions, drops, closings and change exchanges

· Focus on building deeper relationships with customers in order to ensure customer retention and satisfaction

· When the time comes, oversee the daily activities of a dedicated delivery driver or team

· Continually work to fine tune delivery operations and personal product knowledge

· Collaborate with the Retail Team to perform regular inventory counts and work to ensure inventory accuracy

· Always demonstrate a culture of positivity, ethical conduct, safety and compliance

· Be flexible to support both retail and production departments as needed

· Other duties as assigned by Director of Retail & Sales or Owners

Skills & Abilities:

• Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry and, specifically, delivery
• Understanding of the importance of safety, security and compliance
• Is a self-starter and highly motivated to reach personal and company goals
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong customer service and de-escalation skills
• Proficient with technology, especially learning new systems
• Familiarity with/ability to learn MS Office tools, METRC, Digital Menu platforms and Dutchie POS
• Strong attention to detail and a team-player mentality
• Ability to train and follow operating procedures and work efficiently
• Desire to learn about our products, competitors and the local industry

Education & Experience:

• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass state required background check annually
• 1-2 years of retail operations experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must keep an active IIC card at all times
• A passion for educating on the benefits cannabis required

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
