The Marketing Manager reports to the Senior Director of Marketing, Communications, and Branding on initiatives that will build River Park Square’s market position as a premier destination within the Inland Northwest. Responsibilities include research, sponsorship implementation, merchant relations, monthly reporting, and working alongside the Digital Project Manager, development of creative assets. This role also supports internal activities such as employee engagement and corporate communications as well as marketing support for our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute marketing programs and promotions that drive traffic, increase sales, enhance the image and improve the value of River Park Square and other assigned properties.
  • Follow brand guidelines and strategies.
  • Design and write consumer and internal communications as needed including memos, pitch kits, presentations, email campaigns and newsletters.
  • Collaborate with fellow marketing team members on social media campaigns and posts.
  • Maintain residential websites.
  • Create and manage promotional materials, documents and signage, including print production and installation.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as parking and operations, on special projects, holiday décor, displays, sign installation etc.
  • Assist with advertising strategy and media buys.
  • Develop, oversee and track tourism initiatives that build center traffic and sales.
  • Execute third-party partnerships with a focus on clear expectations and tangible deliverables.
  • Develop and monitor new customer service initiatives.
  • Support merchant relations, promotions, and events.
  • Under the direction of the Senior Director of Marketing and Leasing, identify, create, and sell revenue opportunities through strategic positioning of center assets and programming to achieve sales goals.
  • Generate prospective clients in local markets through cold calling, networking, reviewing applicable publications and targeted outreach plans.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Excel in interpersonal communication, selling, and negotiation skills with the ability to use tact and diplomacy when interacting with others.
  • Bring superior writing and editing skills, with the ability to provide constructive graphic design feedback.
  • Possess strong attention to detail.
  • Able and willing to work nights and weekends as required.
  • Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment.
  • Adhere to all River Park Square/Centennial policies and procedures.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
  • Act as a team player sharing responsibility for the achievement of goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or other related field from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and 4-6 years experience in sales, sponsorship, strategic marketing, event management, and budgeting
  • Experience with Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite and online business tools for email/social media
  • Prior retail experience, social media and event planning preferred.
  • Ability to generate innovative solutions to new and existing problems Flexible in responding to organizational changes and business priorities.
  • Responds well to supervision, feedback and redirection.
  • Strong team building and coaching skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize.
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Sound fiscal management and budgeting skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
