We seek to hire a professional with excellent cooking skills to serve as our Dietary Cook.Responsibilities include:Cooking, prepping, and preparing residents' meals and, at times, supervising the employees of a nursing home kitchen.Must be able to follow standardized recipes and portioning procedures to prepare foods.Experience with large-volume cooking and special diets for the elderly populationMust follow all federal, state, and local regulations as well as food safety and HACCP guidelines.Other assigned dutiesEducation Experience:HS Diploma or Equivalent Formal Food Preparation educationTwo years of experience cooking in a healthcare environment.Must have updated medical: PPD, Physical, MMR, Hep B. Must undergo a background check.Schedule: 8 hour shift:12:00p- 8:00 pm Rotating WeekendsExperience:Two years of experience in a nursing home, hospital, or assisted living preferred.Job Type: Full-timeExcellent Benefits, plus 401K matching.Pay $17.00-$18.00/hr.
