Service Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Ag and Construction Equipment Repair Technician to join our team.

Job Description:

As an Ag Equipment and Construction Equipment Repair Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of a wide range of agricultural and construction machinery. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose, repair, and maintain various equipment, including tractors, mowers, loaders, excavators, and more. You will work closely with our customers and internal teams to provide exceptional service and support.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify equipment issues and malfunctions.
• Perform repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance tasks on ag and construction equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and engine-related problems and provide effective solutions.
• Utilize technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and computerized systems to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Order and replace faulty parts, ensuring proper installation and functionality.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and maintain records of service performed.
• Collaborate with customers and provide technical guidance on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety.
• Assist in equipment installations and provide training to customers when necessary.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, equipment advancements, and repair techniques.
• Technical experience with Hay Equipment repair and mechanical functions of machinery used.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in mechanics or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as an Ag Equipment and Construction Equipment Repair Technician.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural and construction equipment systems, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing equipment using computerized diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, stand, bend, and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Required)
• Ag & CE Equipment Repair: 3 years (Preferred)
