Stamping Press Setup manager
We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual to add to the team. Must have prior management experience.
Total responsibility for the safe, quality, and efficient operation of setup staff and operators. .
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Understand Setup of stamping presses including coil loading, locking down, and delivering a quality part to Quality Control.
- Responsible for the overall press department and seeing that production goals are met.
- Monitor staff?s work performance.
- Training (cross training) staff to operate efficiently and safely.
- Maintaining qualified staff in department.
- Assists in maintaining work area in a clean and safe condition.
- Supports and follows all safety rules as well as Company policies and/or rules.
- Shuts down any process if that product does not meet its specific quality requirement.
- Works with team members / management staff to attain Company goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous management experience as well as operating forklift, overhead crane and other industrial machinery preferred
- Understanding and working knowledge of all job-related Quality Objectives, Quality System Policies, Procedures, and Instructions.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary : $40,500 - $51,300
