Speech: Needed for communication with patients for education, pre-procedure history information, procedure manipulation, and post-procedure instructions.
Vision: Needed to identify, from radiograph, the automany and manipulate for correct density and contrast levels for the proper filming technique. Constant visional contact with patient to assure proper positioning of patient and for patient safety.
Smell: Electrical/fire safety.
Hearing: Needed for obtaining patient education and understanding of procedure and history information gathering.
Touch: Needed for operating computer equipment, key boarding of entry and/or other functions for communication of information necessary for patient care.
