Role Summary
The primary function of the Software TPM, is to manage the design, testing, and release of embedded software and to organize/coordinate the various programs and variants. The Electric Power Conversion Software TPM is the primary contact regarding development status/schedule and collaborates with team leaders to prioritize, resource, and track progress of team deliverables.
The Electric Power Conversion Software TPM works with cross functional engineering teams to define milestones, to create and track development schedules, and to drive issue resolution among the teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage software development, schedule, and roadmap in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Break down large concepts into realizable deliverables and work with team members to distribute tasks and execute against the plan with minimal guidance.
- Help software teams meet deliverables by tracking progress, task execution, and keeping focus on critical path.
- Build comprehensive system specifications, taking input from Engineering and Product teams.
- Identify development risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies and communicate them to leadership.
- Evaluate and adjust priorities as issues arise.
- Orchestrate project reviews and drive product/process optimization.
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in Technical Program Management.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or in a related technical discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
