What is the immediate need?
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop the entire sales operations process including but not limited to customer qualifications, sales scripts and training materials, department quotas and compensation strategy, and entire back-end sales administration process.
- Convert current customer lead traffic to closed sales, working closely with Marketing and Patient Care Coordination teams to ensure seamless post-sale process.
- As lead volume increases, you will be responsible for identifying talent needs to build, hire, and train a high-performance sales team.
What will you do?
The Sales Manager will define, implement, and manage the department sales operations strategy. Until the company grows to the point that a sales team is appropriate, the Sales Manager will primarily be responsible for executing the defined operational sales strategy and converting current customer lead traffic to closed sales. As lead volume increases the Sales Manager will be responsible for creating, developing, overseeing and leading the activities and deliverables of the Sales Department to drive company revenue growth targets, manage the sales administration process, and build a high-performance sales team while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Own objective and quota setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales team.- Achieve growth and sales targets by successfully managing the sales team, ensuring individual and team quotas are met.
- Analyze various sales and operations reports and records; using data to project sales, team and department performance, determine profitability, manage targets and identify areas of improvement.
- Present sales performance against quota deliverables to management and executive leadership team.
- Resolve customer complaints, staffing challenges and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
- Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or product offerings and discover methods to increase customer engagement.
- Consistently seek opportunities to support internal stakeholders and serve as a liaison in finding new ways to maximize company profits.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Patient Care Coordinator team members to ensure brand consistency and increase sales revenue.
- Suggest, deploy, and implement improvements in the sales administration process.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the department’s strategy, goals, workflow, priorities, and assignments.
- Organize and oversee the schedules and work of assigned staff.
- Interview, hire, and train new employees in the department.
- Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
- Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 8 years of sales experience consistently meeting and exceeding targets, with at least 2 in a supervisory or managerial position.
