Vendor Rebate Analyst Summary

Full-time | Monday-Friday | Days

The Vendor Rebate Analyst is responsible for ensuring all vendor rebates are calculated, reconciled, and received in a timely and accurate manner.

Vendor Rebate Analyst Qualifications

• Well-organized and self-directed
• Demonstrated complex problems-solving skills
• Able to partner with all levels within the organizations
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Polished oral and written communication skills
• Keen attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance
• 1-3 years of experience working in the distribution industry

Vendor Rebate Analyst Duties

• Orchestrates payment of all vendor and marketing, growth, Journeys, and shelter rebates
• Reconciles rebate reports against vendor payments due
• Manages all vendor inquiries and discrepancies
• Evaluates, monitors, and organizes vendor payments received
• Provides detailed purchase reports for vendor deductions
• Reviews and understands vendor contracts
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

The Vendor Rebate Analyst is frequently required to sit, talk and/or hear; occasionally required to stand, and/or walk. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds while moving files, small packages. Specific vision abilities require include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Manual dexterity for calculator and computer keyboard usage.
