Responsibilities for Foreman
- Report project progress & issues to project managers
- Develop a work schedule for workers when needed
- Enforce the predetermined schedule for subcontractors and advise of adjustments as needed
- Supervise all construction workers and subcontractors, primarily by providing morning setup overviews and check-ins when appropriate.
- Ensure that a project is adequately staffed with materials onsite and organized
- Assign tasks as needed to construction workers and subcontractors
- Oversee two to three projects and complete field work on a daily basis
Qualifications for Foreman
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid PA driver’s license
- Ability to organize and follow a work schedule
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot field issues
- Ability to prioritize tasks in the interest of avoiding delays and maintaining the schedule
- Well-rounded knowledge and understanding of all residential construction trades and processes
- Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints
- Perform quality checks on construction equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
