Position Summary
This position is responsible for driving enterprise data organization, data flow simplification, and process automation across the client’s business unit(s). The goals are to extract higher quality information from data, share knowledge more efficiently, and provide senior management better insights to make business decisions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Understand the client’s current enterprise information architecture components which manage the data for recycled materials, regulatory compliance, and circularity and carbon sustainable impact initiatives
Combine general knowledge of various programming languages with knowledge of data quality validation methods to ensure high levels of data quality across systems
Identify existing data sources and highlight overlaps and gaps
Validate data accuracy across connected data systems and assess the function and performance of various data system solutions
Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify and document business use cases for data management improvements
Create and maintain data flow diagrams to illustrate the movement of data from external sources to both internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate with the client’s product development, operations and IT teams to access and benchmark data flows
Create data project proposals that break down the client’s multi-year plan into monthly and quarterly deliverables with defined metrics/milestones to track
Include recommendations for improvements to existing data management tools and processes
Include recommendations for new data management tools and processes
Define measurable metrics to justify recommended investments e.g., ROI
Organize regular working group meetings to align on plans, priorities, issue resolutions and distribute meeting minutes
Receive and qualify real time requests, then assign and track action items to a schedule
Regularly report on project/plan status to stakeholders
Drive for continuous process/workflow improvements
Perform other duties as needed
Education and Credential Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering Management or related field
Eligible to work in the US without RLA sponsorship for employment visa status
Experience Requirements
3-7 years of experience working in a technical program manager or information systems architect role at a large tech company
Pull data from relational databases to clean, analyze, track, report and ultimately convert into business insights
Use various ERPs and CRMs to organize and share data
Draft status reports and self-service dashboards using data visualization tools e.g., Power BI, Excel, Tableau, etc.
Use of Agile project and program management methodologies
1-2 years of experience in software development using languages such as C, C , SQL/KQL, Python, and Java
Experience working with global stakeholders and successfully managing projects/initiatives, triaging requests and resolving conflicting requests including meeting internal policy and regulatory driven business requirements
Experience presenting program strategies/tactics/proposals to stakeholders and getting buy-in from senior management
Skills Requirements
Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
High proficiency using productivity software such as M365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams and SharePoint)
Ability to use agile/scrum project/program management principles and methodologies to consistently meet task deadlines, triage changing priorities, and track issues to resolution
Ability to collaborate across diverse teams with a customer service mindset
