Description
We are currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Administrative Assistant. This position will be responsible for supporting the accounting department with various administrative tasks to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.
Essential Functions of Position:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, including data entry and invoice processing
- Maintain accurate financial records by organizing and filing documents
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments
- Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed
- Office management
- Answering and directing phone calls and emails.
- Creating and maintaining filing systems, both paper and electronic.
- Managing and prioritizing incoming mail and correspondence.
- Data entry and record-keeping.
- Ordering and stocking office supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in accounting preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in an accounting or finance setting
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles
Salary : $35,900 - $45,400
