Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Installation Technician to join our team. As a Security Installation Technician, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems. You will also cross train with the Internet and VoIP departments to learn these skillsets.
Duties:
- Design, implement, and maintain security systems, including alarm systems, CCTV, and access control systems
- Work with Internet and VoIP side of the business to increase skill sets and round out team capabilities
- Continuing education and maintaining licensing
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies
Qualifications:
- Maintains security license with the State of Texas
- Proven experience in designing and implementing security systems
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, network protocols, and telecommunication systems
- Familiarity low voltage systems
- Proficiency in using power tools for installation purposes - Ability to work at heights - Lift 50lbs
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
