About the Role
The Foreman leads, directs, and works alongside the project labor crew and coordinates the execution and completion of construction labor tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the project labor team through training, coaching, and mentoring and ensure regular feedback is shared with team
- Coordinate task schedule and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Collaborate with subcontractors to maintain a clean and organized working environment
- Adherence to the work site safety program; identify and report any unsafe behavior on the site or hazardous conditions
- Support and drive utilization of various Palmisano initiatives and technologies
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D; Carpentry Trade School Certificate.
- 5 years of civil construction experience.
- Proficiency with software, including MS Office Suite.
- Experience in the installation of utility work, including but not limited to storm drainage, sewer, and water mains.
- Experience in earth-moving activities. including but not limited to sub-base installation, class II base course, large scale embankment, and excavation.
