Job Overview:
RoadOne is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30-5, with occasional overtime as needed.
Duties:
· Process information from time keeping system to process weekly and bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now
· Serve backup 401(K) administrator for company
· Assist with the management of the annual benefits open enrollment period each year
· Maintain HRIS system records and compile reports from database as needed
· Work with payroll specialists to ensure that all information entered in HRIS system (new hires, termination, garnishments, taxes, etc.) is entered correctly and in a timely manner
· Serve as a source of information for staff and external contacts on established payroll policies and procedures
· Communicate changes to employees and answers inquiries if needed
· Communicate with and complete reports for upper management and executive leadership when requested
· Act as a resource for field contacts to ensure their understanding and compliance with benefit and HR policies
· May assist with setting up job postings, background checks and drug tests as needed
· Filing, organizing records
· Other duties as assigned
Skills:
· Associate’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and direct payroll and benefit administrative experience
· 2-3 years of experience with payroll systems, ADP strongly preferred
· Some experience with benefits administration preferred but not required
· Strong problem-solving and reasoning ability
· Excellent communication, both written and verbal
· Ability to make quick decisions based on various factors
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under constant time pressures
· Attention to detail and accuracy
