We are in search of an experienced Accountant, with a focus on NetSuite and inventory-based accounting, to be a part of our team situated in Overland Park, Kansas. Taking on this role, you will be expected to utilize your understanding of GAAP and your strong accounting experience to manage and improve our warehouse management system. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Utilize NetSuite for inventory-based accounting and warehouse management• Perform reconciliations and manage the general ledger• Execute journal entries and manage month/year-end close procedures• Apply understanding of GAAP in daily accounting tasks• Generate accurate financial reports• Execute various accounting functions, maintaining accuracy and efficiency • Ensure balance sheet accounts are accurate and up-to-date• Efficiently handle account reconciliation tasks• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring its accuracy and completeness.
