Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join a dynamic company. As the Accounting Assistant you will provide daily support to the accounting and finance departments with bookkeeping and accounting tasks. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for reconciling bank records, drafting financial documents, invoicing customers, and collecting payments. Your responsibilities in this role
- Help with administrative duties as they present themselves
- Own the bookkeeping processes of the company
- Evaluate financial budgets and track expenses
- Collaborate with the Accounting team by creating and editing financial documents
- Reconcile financial books by working with incoming and outgoing funds
- Handle day-to-day accounting duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll, payroll tax filings, booking journal entries, reconciling credit card and bank account
- Communicate with clients via phone and email as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study preferred
- 1 years of experience working in accounting
- Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet application highly desired
- Prior bookkeeping experience preferred
- High attention to detail as well as critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills
