We are in search of a meticulous Accounting Clerk to join our team located in Bal Harbor, Florida. As part of the role, you will be expected to keep precise records, manage data entry, and provide excellent customer service. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all entries in the General Ledger are accurate and up-to-date.
- Regularly update spreadsheets and vendor names in the General Ledger.
- Use software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks.
- Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status.
- Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate customer credit records.
- Reconcile account balances and communicate financial information to stakeholders.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) effectively.
- Execute billing procedures and invoice processing tasks.
- Collaborate with the bookkeeper and project manager to ensure smooth operations.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
- Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Familiarity with Billing procedures and practices
- Strong Data Entry skills
- Ability to process Invoices efficiently and accurately
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Oracle financial software
- Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software
- Familiarity with SAP financial software
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
