Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Assistant to help our clients immediately. This Accounting Assistant will be working closely with the accounting team, handling new account set up, analyzing past due accounts, assisting with credit memos as well as processing payments. Great opportunity to join a growing organization and learn the business!For immediate consideration, please call Allison Brown at 508.205.2121Key responsibilities- Reconcile discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required- Carry out additional related duties and help with special projects on an as-needed basis- Use various methods to add financial information to journals and ledgers- Assist accounts payable with vendor invoices and disbursement filing and with A/P invoice matching & filing- Utilize a number of sources to create statements and reports- Process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipts, and help with collection of past due balances to support Accounts Receivable- General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects- Accurately code documents with expenditure codes and accounting codes
