Accounts Payable Clerk

Robert Half is actively searching for a permanent Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join an innovative team. The Accounts Payable Clerk will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks and expense reports. Your responsibilities in this role

- Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

- Conduct full-cycle A/P

- Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed

- Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling

- Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

- Help with internal and external audits as required

- Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

- Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

- Provide customer service to internal business partners

Requirements

- Experience with year end closings

- Well-founded grasp of Code Invoices

- Aging Reports experience

- Practical knowledge of Invoice Processing

- Proficiency in account reconciliation

- Quality experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

- Credit Card Reconciliation experience

- General familiarity with Process Vendor Invoices

- Proven knowledge of Form 1099

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

- Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

- Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
