Robert Half is trying to fill an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk position with an organization that offers a stimulating work environment among a team of experienced, motivated professionals. The candidate's responsibilities in this role include attending to the general needs of the AP/Finance Department, while working closely and reporting to the Accounting Manager. Based out of the Nampa, Idaho area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary opening lastly 4-6 weeks.Responsibilities:Invoice Processing:Accurately enter invoices into the accounting system while ensuring adherence to established procedures and policies.Software Utilization:Utilize NetSuite software for invoice processing and other accounts payable tasks (experience preferred but not required).MS Excel Proficiency:Comfortably work with MS Excel for data entry and basic spreadsheet tasks related to accounts payable functions.Compliance and Controls:Execute daily processes and controls meticulously to ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.Customer Service:Provide courteous and prompt customer service to internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to accounts payable.Audit Support:Assist in internal and external audit procedures by providing necessary documentation and support as required.Mail Handling and Document Management:Manage incoming and outgoing departmental mail, including sorting, logging, and filing invoices, checks, and other financial documents.Check Processing:Verify, log, and distribute checks accurately, including expedited handling for special requests or urgent payments.Special Projects:Undertake special projects and assignments as delegated by management to support departmental objectives and initiatives.
