Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist (Contract)Job Type: 6-month ContractPay Rate: $19 - $21/hourWe are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist for a 6-month contract position. The successful candidate will maintain our accounts payable processes and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to strengthen their financial management skills in a fast-paced business environment.Job Responsibilities:1. Maintain our accounts payable information by collecting, calculating, and inputting data.2. Prepare financial reports by summarizing and analyzing accounting information.3. Respond to vendor inquiries, reconcile vendor statements, and maintain vendor files.4. Coordinate and resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies.5. Ensure correct approval, sorting, coding and matching of invoices/receipts.6. Implement payment plans with clients.7. Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.8. Assist in month-end reporting procedures.9. Implement accounts payable strategic planning and development.10. Carry out additional tasks assigned by the manager.
