Robert Half has partnered with a growing manufacturing & distribution company in Denver in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk! The Accounts Receivable Clerk position is offering great benefits and is paying $50,000-$65,000!


The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for the following:

  • Generate and distribute accurate and timely invoices to customers.
  • Verify the accuracy of billing data and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Record and apply customer payments accurately in Sage 100 and QuickBooks.
  • Reconcile payments received with outstanding invoices.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Communicate with customers to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to facilitate prompt payment.
  • Address customer inquiries related to invoices and account statements.
  • Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports to track key metrics.
  • Set credit limits and review credit terms in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable sub-ledger to the general ledger.

Requirements for the Accounts Receivable Clerk include:

  • 2 years of AR experience 
  • Distribution, manufacturing, or construction industry experience (preferred)
  • Sage 100 and QuickBooks experience (preferred)
