Working as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Major responsibilities
- Be a part of various department-wide initiatives
- Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)
- Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
- Ad-hoc projects as required
- Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
- Put together monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
- Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Continually improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
- Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
- Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
- Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills
- A candidate with financial reporting systems proficiency will be the best fit for this position
- ERP system experience
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with functional department managers
- Outstanding skills in analyzing financial data and promptly generating accurate reports
- Minimum 5 years of overall general accounting experience
- Ad Hoc Financial Analysis experience
- Knowledge of Public Accounting
