The ideal candidate will bring a range of skills including event planning, evaluation processes, supervising, college recruiting, mentoring new hires, and organizing recruiting events.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct program management activities within a small private liberal arts college
- Plan and execute various events, ensuring they align with the university's goals and objectives
- Implement and monitor evaluation processes to assess the effectiveness of different programs
- Take charge of college recruiting initiatives, promoting the institution to potential students
- Supervise a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance
- Mentor new hires, facilitating their integration into the team and familiarizing them with their roles
- Organize and manage recruiting events, coordinating logistics and ensuring they run smoothly.
- Prior experience in a university or educational setting is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to handle office tasks such as filing, generating reports, and setting up for meetings
- Experience in college recruiting and knowledge of evaluation processes
- Proven ability in event planning and organizing recruiting events
- Experience in mentoring new hires and supervising a team
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field is preferred.
