What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attorney - Litigation position at Robert Half?
Robert Half is partnering with a Dallas, TX Law Firm seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Litigation Attorney to support the Senior Attorneys for trial prep for 2 upcoming criminal cases. This will be a 2-5 month contract that begins on July 26th.
Responsibilities:
- Trial Preparation: Collaborate with trial attorneys to assist in the preparation of witness lists, exhibit lists, trial outlines, and trial binders.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and trial memoranda.
- Support the attorney prior to trial proceedings, including witnesses and reviewing evidence.
- Assist in preparing trial exhibits, visual aids, and other necessary materials.
- Conduct real-time legal research and analysis during trial proceedings.
- Analyze deposition transcripts and identify potential strengths and weaknesses in the case.
- Assist attorney in the preparation of expert witnesses for depositions and cross-examinations.

- Organize and maintain trial-related documents, exhibits, and evidence.
- Assist in managing discovery requests and responses.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and updates for senior attorneys and partners.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Active and in good standing with the relevant state bar association as a licensed attorney.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on criminal trials.
- Trial experience Highly Valued
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) Highly Valued
- Strong experience in trial preparation, including legal research, drafting motions, and reviewing documents.
- Deposition and arbitration experience Highly Valued
