Billing Specialist

Description

We are searching for a meticulous Billing Specialist to join our team in Bellevue, Washington. In this role, you will primarily work with attorney billing work, ensuring accuracy in all details. You will also be tasked with maintaining and editing records, creating final bills, and handling any related inquiries. This role offers an exciting opportunity for those interested in the legal industry, particularly in the area of billing.

Responsibilities

• Carefully process attorney's billing work, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
• Perform edits on billing information, adjusting as necessary to correct any errors or typos.
• Accurately input costs associated with each legal matter.
• Generate the final bill for each legal matter, ensuring all details are correct and complete.
• Handle any billing inquiries, offering clear and concise responses to resolve any issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all billing transactions.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems to streamline and enhance billing processes.
• Perform regular monitoring of customer accounts and take appropriate actions as necessary.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient billing operations.
• Continuously improve billing functions, leveraging your skills in Legal Billing to enhance procedures and outcomes.
  
  
  

The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $69,000 bonus.

Requirements

• Proficiency in accounting software systems is essential for this role
• Must possess a strong understanding of billing functions
• Experience in legal billing is required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary
• Must demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial
• Understanding of general accounting principles is beneficial
• Must have strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think critically
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly is essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required
• Must have the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
