Business Analyst (JIRA SME)

Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst (JIRA SME) to join our team in Reading, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and refining our use of the Jira platform and Confluence, aligning workflows with team objectives, and facilitating change management processes. This position offers a 6 month contract employment opportunity.

**ONSITE IN READING, Pa (can go hybrid after first couple weeks)

Responsibilities:

Someone who is skilled in onboarding Jira Change Management and Confluence, a Technical SME

Moved the manual Chage Management process into Jira, creating Jira tickets for the change requests, have workflows, and have been running with this for about a year

Conduct an assessment of the current usage of the Jira platform and Confluence and provide recommendations for improvements

Refine the change management process in Jira, ensuring efficient creation of tickets and workflows

Collaborate with the team to understand their goals and align the installed workflows accordingly

Assist with technical changes in Confluence, particularly in relation to change management workflows

Address user complaints regarding access to documentation on Confluence and Jira, and improve accessibility

Facilitate the transition from manual processes to ITIL programs

Enhance the user experience of the built web portal for service requests

Ensure efficient routing of service requests to the appropriate personnel

Leverage expertise in Jira Service Management, Jira Change Management, and Confluence

Manage and monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as necessary.

Requirements

Proficiency in Change Management practices

Strong working knowledge of JIRA, Jira Service Management, and Confluence

Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when needed

Change management in Jira & Confluence
