Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair cable system infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
- Install data and voice cables for residential cable television and home router systems
- Install cabled devices for home security systems, ensuring safety and functionality
- Upgrade existing cable television and internet systems to improve user experience
- Perform cable system maintenance to ensure optimal operation
- Utilize your skills in Broadband, EO/IR systems, Networking, OSP, Patch Panel, AB Testing, Cable Installation, Cabling, Coax Cable, Digital to perform the above tasks proficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cable Technician or relevant role.
- Familiarity with broadband, EO/IR systems, networking, OSP, and patch panel.
- Proficient in AB testing, cable installation, cabling, coax cable, and digital.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
- Familiarity with blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to safety and adherence to protocols.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work in different environments including outdoors, heights, and confined spaces.
- Willingness to participate in on-the-job training and continuous learning.
