We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Missouri. This role primarily involves managing business-to-business (B2B) collections and invoicing processes. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, handling high-pressure situations, and communicating with customers to secure payments.Responsibilities:• Conduct B2B invoicing and progress billing, particularly within the construction sector.• Understand and effectively communicate billing details to customers, including purchase orders and quotes.• Follow up on outstanding invoices by reaching out to approximately 50 customers per day to secure payments.• Assist with credit card payments and cash posting.• Perform customer credit evaluations and set up new customer accounts.• Utilize accounting software systems like MS Dynamics AX 12 and Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.• Maintain clear and professional written and verbal communication with customers.• Handle challenging situations with professionalism and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
